"Coach Brooks is the ultimate football coach and man. I met coach brooks as a 13 year old who never played football and he welcomed me with open arms. He was always encouraging me and pushing me throughout the years to be the best I can be and would always put me out in front whenever college coaches came calling. Although he will get on you and call you out if you aren't doing what's asked, he will be the first to celebrate with you when you do something special. As we both went to Maryland he continued to be a great mentor and someone I could always talk to Whenever things weren't going the way I wanted them to. He has a great ability to relate to players and to be able to help them through and with whatever while always holding them accountable and making sure they never become complacent.
He strives to really develop genuine relationships with the players and those relationships go far beyond the football field. I truly believe without Coach Brooks I would not be the player I am and neither would I be part of the person I am either."
